Day 1 :
Feel honored with special attention lavished on you by attendants at the Shiv Niwas Palace heritage hotel in Udaipur, as you check in and relax during the latter half of the day. Lunch at the Shiv Niwas Palace courtyard and rest during the rest of the day. Stay overnight at the Shiv Niwas Palace hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Day 02 :
Today the Indian Horizons representative accompanies you to the fascinating Udaipur attractions. See the Saheliyon ki Bari, City Palace, lake Palace, Lake Pichola, Moti Magri and other historic sites and monuments. Tour local bazaars and enjoy brilliant white Udaipur steeped in magical hues. Stay overnight at the Shiv Niwas Palace heritage hotel.
Day 03 :
You are free to relax during the morning. Later in the afternoon you join the relatives and friends of the bridegroom in tying turbans, general gaiety and fun. The wedding procession gathers near the hotel gate and proceeds in accompaniment with dances and music. The wedding procession is showered with rose petals and sprinkled with rose water. The groom sits proud on a caparisoned horse till the wedding party reaches the banks of Lake Pichola. Guests are ferried across on boats to the Jag Mandir Island for the actual tying of the knot.
