Day 02: In Delhi
Post breakfast head for a city tour in Delhi with an Indian Horizons guide. Visit monuments like India Gate, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple. In the evening to attend sound and light show at Old Fort. Have dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
On the third day of your Khajuraho Golden Triangle Tour go on a morning drive to Agra in Uttar Pradesh. On your way visit Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra and then again resume your journey to Agra. Arrive in Agra and check in at the hotel. Relax a while and then visit Taj Mahal. More than 20,000 laborers constructed Taj Mahal, a monument of love built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal is surrounded by a mosque and a guest house apart from the massive Char Bagh. In the evening return to the hotel and enjoy an optional light cultural show. Have dinner and an overnight stay in Agra.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
Watch the beauty of Taj Mahal during sunrise. After breakfast visit the Agra Fort and then have lunch. In the afternoon join the Indian Horizons representative on a drive to Jaipur in Rajasthan. On your way to Jaipur visit Fatehpur Sikri, the Mughal city with spectacular architecture and red sandstone walls. Visit the mosques, ruins and palace at Fatehpur Sikri. Later arrive in Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Have an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 05: In Jaipur
Spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon after having lunch proceed on a walk to Jaipur bazaars and shop a while. From handicrafts to jewelry, you could buy from a range of items here. Then visit the famous forts and palaces of Jaipur, the Pink City. After exploring the architectural splendor of Jaipur return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Jaipur - Khajuraho
On the 6th day of your Khajuraho Golden Triangle Tour you will move for an excursion to Sanganer, located in the vicinity to Jaipur. Watch out the skilled craftsmen at work and then again continue to your journey back to Jaipur. Have lunch and rest a while. Then board a flight to Khajuraho, located in Madhya Pradesh. Arrive in Khajuraho, where an Indian Horizons representative will escort you to your hotel. Have an overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 07: In Khajuraho
On this day of your Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho, you will explore the beautiful temples accompanied with an Indian Horizon guide. Constructed by Chandela rulers, Khajuraho are counted in world heritage sites. There are western group of temples and eastern group of temples in Khajuraho. Have an overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Day 08: Khajuraho - Delhi
On the last day of your Khajuraho Golden Triangle Tour you can tour to the historical places like Jhansi and Orchha or simply board the flight back home.
