Day 01: Delhi - Khajuraho
Meeting and transfer to Delhi airport for flight to Khajuraho.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Khajuraho is world-renowned for its erotic temple sculptures. Built between the 9th and 12th century AD by the Chandelas, the temples of Khajuraho represent the architectural geniuses of medieval India.
Arrive at Khajuraho and check I n at the hotel. After freshening up, proceed for sightseeing of western group of temples. Dinner and overnight will be at Khajuraho.
Day 02: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a sightseeing of Khajuraho Temples, visiting the most erotic temples sculptures. After lunch, we drive to the Bandhavgarh National Park (250 km-5 hrs).
Set amidst breathtakingly beautiful surroundings of the Vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh is one of the finest national parks and tiger reserves of India. Spread over an area of just 437sq km, the park is home to a wide variety of wildlife and a high density of game, including a large number of Tigers.
Arrive at Bandhavgarh and check in at the Forest Lodge/Resort. Dinner and overnight stay at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 03: Bandhavgarh National Park
Enjoy a full day game viewing inside the jungle (Two safaris with lunch break). Also enjoy a memorable trek to the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort, believed to be the oldest fort in India.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 04: Bandhavgarh National Park
Enjoy thrilling Jungle exploration on elephant back and Open Jeeps (Two safaris with lunch break).
Dinner and overnight stay at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 05: Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park
After breakfast, we proceed to the world-famous Kanha National Park by surface (250 km-5 hrs).
Described for its exceptional natural beauty by RUDYARD KIPLING in his great work "The Jungle Book," Kanha National Park is one of the finest national parks and tiger reserves of India. Stretching on an area of over 940 sq km amidst breathtaking surroundings of lush mountains and valleys, Kanha is home to an amazing variety of wildlife that includes the rare and endangered white tigers, Indian fox, sloth bear, striped hyenas, leopards, mouse deer, chausingha (four horned antelope), nilgai and porcupines to name a few. The park also shelters over 200 species of birds including water birds.
Arrive Kanha by the afternoon and check into the Forest Lodge/ Resort and relax. If time permits, take a short trip of Kawardha, situated just east of the Maikal Range close to Kanha National Park. Kawardha is known for its beautiful virgin forests and unique tribal population. Dinner and overnight stay at the Forest Lodge/Resort in Kanha.
Day 06: Kanha National Park
Enjoy a full day game viewing inside the jungle (Two safaris with lunch break). Dinner and overnight stay at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 07: Kanha - Nagpur
Enjoy a morning Game Drive into the lush Kanha forests. After lunch, we drive to Nagpur (250 km-6 hrs). Nagpur is popularly known as the "Orange Capital of India." Arrive at Nagpur and check in at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nagpur.
Day 08: Nagpur - Delhi
After breakfast at hotel, on time transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Reach and transfer to the Delhi Int'l airport for connecting flight home. If the flight is scheduled for late in the evening, we would be organizing a hotel for the day.
