Day 02: Delhi
On the second day of your Wildlife Tour of India, you will go on a sightseeing tour of Delhi with an Indian Horizon guide. Drive along the famous Rajpath, Vijay Chowk, India Gate, President’s House and the Parliament House. Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Birla Mandir are some other places worth visiting during sightseeing in Delhi. Enjoy shopping in the Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh. Return to the hotel later for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi - Ranthambore
Post breakfast, get transferred to New Delhi Railway Station and board the train to Ranthambore. Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is a home to leopards, tigers and other animal species. Arrive in Ranthambore and check in at the hotel. Have an overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 04: Ranthambore
Today you will enjoy game drives both in morning and at evening in Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary. Have an overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 05: Ranthambore - Jaipur
On the fifth day of your Wildlife Tour of India, you will go on an early morning game drive in the park. Later in the day proceed for Jaipur – “The Pink City”. Arrive at Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Then go on a city tour with an Indian Horizons guide and visit places like Hawa Mahal or the “Palace of Winds”, City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory built by Jai Singh. Have an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 06: Amber Fort – Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary, Bharatpur
Post breakfast head towards Amber City to visit the majestic Amber Fort. Enjoy elephant ride on the hill where Amber Fort is situated. Explore the wonderful architecture of temples, apartments and palaces at the Amber Fort. Then proceed to the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur. This bid sanctuary is a home to over 350 bird species. Have an overnight stay in Bharatpur.
Day 07: Bharatpur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
On the 7h day of your Wildlife Tour of India, you will leave for Agra and on route visit the Mughal city, Fatehpur Sikri. Built up of red sandstone, Fatehpur Sikri complex is worth exploring. Then resume to your journey to Agra, at a distance of 45 minutes from Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive in Agra and check in at the hotel. Enjoy a sunset view of Taj Mahal in the evening and later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. It should be noted that Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Day 08: Agra – Jhansi – Khajuraho
Today you will get transferred to Agra Railway Station and board the train to Jhansi. Arrive at Jhansi and continue on your way to Khajuraho from there by road. On your way enjoy stoppages at Orchha. Arrive at Khajuraho and check in at the hotel. Have an overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 09: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh National Park
In the morning you will visit the Western and Eastern group of temples with an Indian Horizons guide. Then you will drive to Bandhavgarh National Park set up in the Vindhyan Ranges. Bandhavgarh National Park is a home to a white tigers and other animal species like sambar deer, barking deer, blue bull and Indian bisbon. Return to the hotel or lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Bandhavgarh Game Viewing
Today you will enjoy game viewing in morning and at evening. Have an overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.
Day 11: Kanha National Park
Go on an early morning game drive in Bandhavgarh. Then after having breakfast drive to Kanha, the place described in Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”. Kanha National Park is a home to about 22 mammal species like wild pigs, jackals, spotted deer, swamp deer, langur and black bucks. Tigers, wild dogs, Indian fox, panthers and jungle cats can also be seen at Kanha National Park. It also houses more than 200 bird species. You will spend two days enjoying game viewing at Kanha National Park. Have an overnight stay at Kanha.
Day 12: Kanha National Park
Today you will enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing in Kanha National Park. Have an overnight stay at Kanha.
Day 13: Kanha – Nagpur
Go on an early morning game drive in Kanha National Park and later in the day proceed to Nagpur, known as Maharashtra’s winter capital and India’s geographical center. Arrive in Nagpur and check in at the hotel. Have an overnight stay in Nagpur.
Day 14: Nagpur – Mumbai
On the last day of your Wildlife Tour of India, you will leave for Mumbai by air. In the evening you will leave for your home or for your further destination from Mumbai.
