Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive today India's capital city of Delhi. You are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome by the Indian Horizons representative and escorted to the hotel. Overnight at Delhi

Day 02: In Delhi
After a leisurely morning, start your afternoon tour of New Delhi - drive along Rajpath to view Parliament House, the President's House, India Gate. Visit the Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla. Overnight at Delhi

Day 03: Delhi Sightseeing
This morning tour Old Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Ashoka Pillar and the Chandni Chowk bazaar. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Stay overnight in Delhi, India.

Day 04: Delhi-Katmandu
This morning fly to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Tour the Durbar Square, Temple of the Living Goddess and Swayambhunath. Come back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Kathmandu, Nepal.

Day 05: In Katmandu
Visit Bhaktapur, Pashupathinath and Bodhnath. Have your lunch and then go on tours to Patan and the Tibetan handicrafts center. Enjoy a cultural extravaganza of Nepalese folk music and dances. Stay overnight at Kathmandu, Nepal.

Day 06: Katmandu-Varanasi
The Indian Horizons tour guide arranges for you to fly to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, India. Varanasi is one of the holiest cities of India that is situated on the banks of the River Ganges. Check in at the hotel and relax. Set out on afternoon tours with the Indian Horizons guide to the stupas, ruins and museum at Sarnath. Stay overnight at the Varanasi hotel.

Day 07: Varanasi-Khajuraho
The Indian Horizons tour guide arranges for you to go on tours to the fascinating temples of Khajuraho that were built under the patronage of the Chandela rulers. Overnight at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Day 08: Khajuraho-Agra
This morning visit the principal Eastern group of temples, modest and less ornate than the Western Group. These temples reflect the simplicity inherent in Jainism. Later, drive to Jhansi to board the train to Agra, en route visiting Orcha, a medieval city frozen in time and space, existing to this day, as it must have in the 17th century.
Upon arrival you are met and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Agra

Day 09: Agra-Jaipur
Early morning visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal for a sunrise viewing. After breakfast visit the Agra Fort followed by your drive to Jaipur, en route visiting the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival, check in at the Hotel. Overnight at Jaipur

Day 10: In Jaipur Morning visit the mountain fortress-palace of Amber, riding royally atop of daintily painted and decorated elephants. Later, enjoy a tour of Jaipur City, visiting Hawa Mahal or the "Palace of Winds," City Palace and the ancient observatory. Overnight at Jaipur

Day 11: Jaipur-Udaipur
This morning fly to Udaipur. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel In the afternoon tour this famous "City of Lakes," known as one of the most picturesque and romantic cities of India and maybe the world. Visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of Maids and the folklore museum where you can see a presentation of the string puppets typical to this area. Overnight at Udaipur

Day 12: In Udaipur
Today's excursion brings you to the beautifully sculpted 15th century Jain temples of Ranakpur. The intricately carved white marble is so well preserved. The temple dedicated to the Sun God is famed for its erotic sculpture. Stop for lunch at Maharani Bagh, a mango grove and private gardens of the Maharana of Jodhpur. Overnight at Udaipur

Day 13: Udaipur-Mumbai (Bombay)
Fly to Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India's most cosmopolitan city. Your tour of Mumbai includes the Gateway of India, the Hanging Gardens, Malabar Hill, the Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, Marine Drive, the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Jain Temple. A room will be provided for rest and relaxation at the hotel. Late evening transfer to international airport for flight back home
