The gushing Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall is surrounded by rubber plantations and sedimentary rocky outcrops.   1. Day 1Cochin (Kochi) - Cochin (Kochi) 

    Upon arrival at the Cochin airport you will be met by the Indian Horizons representative, who will escort and transfer you to the hotel.

    Overnight in the hotel in Cochin. 

  2. Day 2Cochin (Kochi) - Cochin (Kochi) 

    After breakfast proceed on a sightseeing tour with Indian Horizons guide.

    You explore the fascinating Portuguese town, where you visit the Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue and Spice markets.

    Later, Indian Horizons will organize a Kathakali Dance performance for you.

    Before the performance you will taken to the green room where you can see the dancers dressing up for the performance. The dressing up for the Kathakali is the most exciting and important part of the dance. You would see the dancers applying natural colors to their face, hands and feet. Indian Horizons guide would brief you about the traditional dance.

  3. Day 3Cochin (Kochi) - Kumarakom 

    In the morning proceed to Kumarakom by road.

    Kumarakom is the gateway to the backwaters of Kerala.

    Upon arrival check into the backwater resort,  spend the day at leisure. Indian Horizons recommend an Ayurvedic Massage at the resort to relax and rejuvenate.

    After breakfast, board the houseboat to start the backwater cruise.

    The backwater cruise is a wonderful experience to absorb the beauty of Kerala villages. You pass through the breathtaking greens and deep blues of Kerala's scenic landscape.

    A journey through the curves and bends is a lifetime experience.

  6. Day 6Alleppey - Kovalam 

    Morning  transfer to Kovalam and check-into the beach resort.

    Relax on the beach.

  7. Day 7Kovalam - Kovalam 

    Take a stroll on the beach, swim, surf or take a rejuvenating massage. The day is at leisure.

    The day is at leisure. Simply lie on the beach or indulge in seafood.
